Nancy C. Kokita hold a Degree in Business Administration from Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA). She hails from West Pokot where FGM prevalence is over 75%, though in some remote villages the prevalence is still as high as 100%. She is a full time girl rights defender. Having trained as business administrator, she chose to put aside her profession to champion the community development and end of harmful cultural practice in her community. She is recognized both locally and internationally for her frontline campaign work.
