Lokal Michael

Lokal Michael is a Community Development Worker as well as a Consultant with 15 years of experience. His key qualifications include a Bachelor Degree on Project planning and Management (Mt. Kenya University) Post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management (University of Nairobi), Peace Building and Good governance  University of Nairobi), Training of Trainers certification in Children Legal issues (Child Protection Network). Lokal as Project Coordinator with an organization CUP, he is good in Networking and Resource Mobilization (Feed the Minds, training, moving from an Idea to a Project). Lokal is passionate about peace building and tackling Gender based violence as it affects women and the girl child. To this end, Lokal has trained several youth groups, women group leaders and social agents of change to work towards securing the rights of vulnerable persons in the community. In addition to his qualifications and experience as a Community Development Worker, Lokal has helped coach and structure several self – help groups, community based organizations and religious leaders so that they are more effective in their development programs.
